2020 EVENT DETAILS

WHAT

Developed by Fourlines, a locally established kiteboarding lifestyle brand, SNOWKITE SQUALL is a race that will test the racers snowkiting skills, tactics and endurance.  Everyone will have to also have a little bit of luck as it is a mass-start much like a marathon but with 50+ kites in the sky attached to 25m lines!! To win or even just finish the race, each kiter must complete all 30km of course laps no matter if it’s a bluebird sunny day or white-out snow squall.

WHEN

The event is planned to be held February 22nd, 2020 with back-up reserve dates of the 23rd, 29th, or March 1st in case the wind gods are not cooperating.  Registration will be in the morning with the race, kite jam and awards party following.

Event registration opens January 20th, 2020 with early-bird registration ($50) closes January 31st, 2020 and standard registration ($65) will remain open until all spots are filled.
